Manuela Blasi, known professionally as “Lalla”, is one of the most esteemed and well-known Italian cake designers at both national and international levels.

Blogger for some years and recently a Youtuber she is graduated in "Literature and Philosophy" and holds a Master's degree in "Marketing and Communication in the fashion industry" with a specialization in "Human Resources Management".

In 2008 she published her first novel for “Newton Compton Editore”. In 2010 she falls in love with the Sugar Art and turns her passion into a profession. She has been teaching Cake Design all over Italy for six years; in June 2014 she opened in Rome the “Lalla’s Cake Sugar Academy”, an academy for cake design and pastry-making lovers; she worked as a tutor in the TV programme “Detto Fatto” broadcasted on RAI2 and conducted by Caterina Balivo; following her passion she published a book about cake design entitled “Il cake design di Lalla, guida passo passo alla decorazione di torte da sogno” for Eligio Editore and collaborated with several specialized  magazines , both Italian (“Cake Design Cucina Chic”, “Cake Design Magazine”, “Torte, la rivista dei peccati di gola”) and foreign ones (Switzerland, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Bolivia ...).

She has lots of followers on her facebook page“Lalla’s Cake”, namely 140.000 fans, as well as on her blog www.lallascake.blogspot.it and on her YouTube channel where she shares pastry recipes and tips about lifestyle.
